Whether it's breast augmentation, breast lift or breast reduction we can help you achieve your dreams.
Breast augmentation is the surgical placement of breast implants to increase fullness and improve symmetry of the breasts or to restore breast volume lost after weight reduction or pregnancy.
Surgery involves using breast implants or fat, referred to as fat transfer breast augmentation. Breast augmentation can:
- Increase fullness and projection of your breasts
- Improve the balance of your figure
- Enhance your self-image and self-confidence
Breast implants may also be used for breast reconstruction after mastectomy or injury.
Some women are happy about the size of their breasts but are unhappy about the shape and position of the breasts. These women are perfect candidates for a breast lift with or without the use of implants.
If an implant is not required, the shape and position of the breasts can be enhanced using these breast lift techniques.
- Circumareolar mastopexy (around the areola only). - Vertical mastopexy (around the areola and down to the bottom of the breast) - Full mastopexy (a vertical mastopexy with the addition of an incision along the bottom fold of the breast).
Some women have large breasts, which interfere with their daily activities, and could cause problems like back and neck pain. In this case a breast reduction will be needed.
Incisions are made around the areola, from the areola to the bottom of the breasts and another incision along the bottom fold of the breasts. Reduction can also be performed through a ''vertical'' type of reduction only. This avoids the incision along the bottom fold of the breasts. This procedure allows for the removal of excess breast tissue. It also allows for reshaping of the breasts. Therefore, one of the advantages of breast reduction is that the size of the breasts is reduced while the shape and position of the breasts are vastly improved. The size of the areolas is also reduced.
Women who need breast reduction are extremely pleased after this procedure. The incisions heal very well and fade over time. The scars usually become barely visible after 6 months to a year.
